Nuggets of Love from Him (and some posts)
5:22 AMIt is Manic Monday and on our case, it's a rainy, cold Monday which kept most of us indoors, cuddling our pillows and burrowing in our beds and comforters since most schools and office work were suspended. Rainy, cold, and flooded. But still, I thank the Lord for keeping us safe and warm, along with the rest of the family members in our home.
On the other hand, I just really wanted to share something interesting, today!
I'm fascinated with the things enumerated here on my list of articles from Buzzfeed and I do agree on most of it. Here's three for you to read, understand. and might as well, enjoy.
1. 12 Signs You're Really Into Your Book
2. The 21 Struggles Of Having An Impossible Name
3. 9 Reasons To Love Your Scars
I relate with these posts but I admit that the third one struck me the most. Having an encounter with lots of things the past years, I admit that I earned lots of scars, visible ones that had me down once. I even came to a point where I started asking myself, "what happened? from clear skin to scars?" but as days passed and with prayers and moments spent with God, I've learned to accept it and I understood more of its purpose. Truly, these scars helped me grow as well. I call them my Battle Scars. And just as what Chris Cleave mentioned in The Little Bee:
“We must see all scars as beauty. Okay? This will be our secret. Because take it from me, a scar does not form on the dying. A scar means, 'I survived'.”
Oh, I also encountered this video on Facebook as well. To all the ladies who's reading this post, I suggest you watch this. This video moved me to tears as it reminded me once again on who am I and what my worth is.
From the scar post to the video, gosh, I feel extremely loved by my Father in Heaven. So amazed on how He still find ways to show his love through simple post from the internet.
Time to feel loved, treasured, and wanted. Time to once again be confident with our own skin. Because God made each of us unique and precious. God made all of us beautiful and one of a kind.
Good day and God bless you, dear reader!
